| Description (Service) | Description:The Indigenous Mental Health and Wellbeing Program (IMHWP) offers wholistic, culturally-responsive support to address the mental health and well-being needs of urban Indigenous individuals and families. This trauma-informed, strengths-based program combines traditional and land-based approaches to support mental health through peer support, sharing circles, and cultural activities. The aim is to foster a Good Mind and promote a balanced state of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Program Objective:To promote mental health and well-being through a balance of physical, emotional, and spiritual care, supporting individuals in managing life's stresses and achieving a Good Mind. The program empowers clients to cope with both normal and abnormal stressors and navigate through them in positive ways. Program Services:
