| Description (Service) | The Personal Disaster Assistance Program meets immediate and basic needs of households following a sudden onset disaster or emergency event. Short duration assistance (up to 72 hours) acts as a bridge between time of impact and access to available community resources. During a large scale response, Canadian Red Cross would work with the County to offer emergency social services if activated. Are you prepared for an emergency - Canadian Red Cross offers free emergency personal preparedness workshops to groups.
